Series 22/23

PTFE, Conductive PTFE and UHMWPE

2"-24" (50mm-600mm)
The Bray HPV-High Performance Valve is ideal for highly corrosive, conductive, abrasive and ultra pure water applications. PTFE seats and encapsulated stainless steel discs are molded from virgin, unfilled PTFE with a minimum of 1/8" thickness. Conductive PTFE and UHMWPE seats and molded over stainless steel discs are available. Molded HPV seats feature computer designed machined contours that reduce part wear by minimizing contact forces. Bray’s patented sealing design provides bubble tight shut-off and absolute stem sealing capability. The Series 22, a wafer version, and the Series 23, the lug version, are both rated for 150 psi (10 bar) service.

Series 30/31

Brays general purpose valve. This valve has a high strength through-stem design. Its precision double "D" disc to stem connection drives the disc without the need of screws or pins. This design allows for higher Cv, easy disassembly and reduced disc to stem failure. The stem is retained in the body by means of a S.S. retaining ring. The Series 30, a wafer version, and the Series 31 the companion lug, are both rated 175 psi (12 bar) for 2"-12" bodies and 150 psi (10 bar) for 14"-20" bodies. Dead end service ratings are 75 psi (5 bar) for 2"-12" bodies, and 50 psi (3.5 bar) for 14"-20" bodies.

Resilient Seated Butterfly Valves with Polyurethane Trim

Bray Controls proudly offers a range of high quality abrasion resistant polyurethane seats for the Series 20/21 and Series 30/31 butterfly valves with the advantage of resistance to wear in abrasive services. Polyurethane (more commonly referred to as "urethane") has successfully been used to line pipelines for a wide range of industries because of its ability to resist abrasive wear in many applications such as slurries, pneumatic conveying, hopper isolation, sediment, dry powder, dust extraction, mineral sands, mining, potash and fertilizer.

Series 31H

Bray Controls is proud to offer a line of superior quality, high pressure manual butterfly valves that meet many of today’s requirements. The Series 31H lug type is rated for 250 psi (17.2 Bar) bidirectional dead end service.

Series 32 / 33 Wafer

Large diameter economical wafer valve. The Series 32/33 valves are wafer versions with the Series 32 valve rated for 75 psi and the Series 33 designed for a higher rating of 150 psi.

Series 35 / 36 Full Flanged
Features a through-stem design with adjustable packing and bubble-tight shutoff. The Series 35/36 are fullflanged versions rated at 75 and 150 psi respectively.

This valve series has many of the design features and benefits of the smaller Bray valves, such as high Cv ratings, minimum parts exposed to the line media, greater reliability and a proven record of long service life. Series 35F

Bray Series 35F large diameter butterfly valves have been designed specifically for applications that process chloride content with low to very high concentration at a maximum rating of 75psi. Combining years of experience and innovation with independent material analysis, Bray has carefully selected valve materials and features that optimize performance without sacrificing system efficiency. Series 35N/36N

Designed for highly abrasive and corrosive service, Bray’s Series 35N/36N large diameter, resilient seated butterfly valves meet process requirements with chloride content as high as 75,000 parts per million.

Featuring safety, performance and economy, the S35N/36N is the ideal butterfly valve for mining, sea water, cooling water and treated water processes.

Series 36H

Bray Controls is proud to offer a line of superior quality, high pressure manual butterfly valves that meet many of today’s requirements in the process industry. Series 36H large diameter, double flanged valves are rated for 232 psi (16 Bar) bidirectional dead end service.

Series 39L

The Series 39 has been designed to withstand the most highly erosive and abrasive services in alumina refining. It has also been successfully applied to other applications where control of erosive product is required.

The Bray Series 39 control valve is made to the highest standard from technically advanced wear resistant materials such as sintered silicon carbide ceramic, partially stabilized zirconia ceramic and special chrome-molybdenum iron. Therefore, Series 39 is the ultimate product for use on severely erosive slurry and abrasive applications. Components from the patented Series 40 high performance valve are featured in the Series 39. Proven Series 40 parts, such as seals, packing and bearings, and the blow out proof stem design are utilized. Industry standard ISO actuator mounting top works allows for simple, standard on-site actuator fitment.

Series 3A/3AH

Bray’s Series 3A/3AH valves are a double flanged design which can be used for dead-end service.

The primary seal is achieved by pre-loaded contact of spherically machined hand polished disc hubs with unique molded seat flat surfaces. This sealing method isolates the flowing media from the stem and body material at all angles of valve disc seating. A secondary seal is achieved by an interference fit of the stem and seat hole diameters.
